They come out...circle for about 30 seconds...Machida throws a couple feints...some quick leg kicks. Rashad jabs the air around machida in retaliation. Rashad moves in quick throwing a jab-straight right combo, Lyoto circles away and counters with a straight left. Rashad comes in again, this time gets foot-sweeped right on his ass, Machida follows for some GNP...nothing big lands, Lyoto lets him up.
They go back and forth like this for the rest of round 1, with Lyoto solidly winning the round via dodging all strikes and landing footsweeps and strikes of his own.
Round 2, they come out...circle some more, Lyoto dives in and lands some punches, and is out of the way immediately. Rashad starts to look visibly frustrated. Trying to mix it up, Rashad shoots for a takedown...and while doing so, eats a huge knee to the jaw. Rashad drops! Lyoto follows him and lands some big shots and elbows...the ref jumps in a 2:21 of Round 2...for the winner by TKO...LYOTO!
