UG, watching back over these best of Pride videos someone posted in another thread a few days ago. Watching S1E3 and from what I can see Shogun kills Nog in Standup, Ground Control, Takedowns.. Everything except Submission attempts.
The commentators are talking the whole time like Nog was in the lead though? Am I missing something here? I understand the scoring and how it differs from UFC etc but were sumbmission attempts really that important? Its not like Shogun ever stopped doing work?

On a side note, is there any episodes people highely recommend? Only got into MMA a few years ago, and im a fanatic now. Missed all the Pride stuff :(
