Shogun deserves this shot, lol @ his MMA career prior to UFC not meaning anything. I think he could be the toughest opponent for Machida at the moment, and his last fight is the best he has looked in the ufc. That said, I still don't like his chances that much, I just think Machida is that good. I love/hate this match up, I'll be happy for the winner and bummed for the loser.

agreed, atleast Shogun got a title shot in his 3rd fight with PRIDE crediblity unlike Anderson who got his title shot in just his 1st fight with just a Cage Rage credibilty
You know Anderson is quickly becoming my less favorite fighter! He has been talking crap about people I know he is friends with! Maybe he knows something that we dont. Like maybe Shogun and Wanderlei used to knocked him out all the time. I dont know, but its getting old seeing Chute Boxe talk about each other.
