Machida and Shogun are the two best in the world. There is no doubt. Machida is champion only because Cecil and the girls couldnt judge a fight.
Why do you guys only blame Cecil Peoples? The judge's decision was UNANIMOUS. The only one that scored it differently was Nelson Hamilton that gave the 4th round to Machida.
Because Cecil has a history of awful judging and then came out with some ridiculous comments (not exact quotes):
"Leg kicks dont end fights"
"All of the fans were drunk"
"If anyone doesnt like it they can go to hell"
"Lyoto controlled where the fight took place"
Yeah, you will draw a lot of the blame with bullshit excuses for awful reffing! If you agree that any of the above statements are accurate or acceptable you have much to learn about the sport!
