Shogun used Crane stance during fight. Why? (pic)

LOL toshii, you are really adorable at times =P

Only through karate can one counter karate.

that wasn't a crane stance, Shogun's a Diaz fan.

the whole time i had it in my head that shogun did that to let his corner know he was not in any trouble

he did it each time he was grazed by a shot or just finishing an exchange with machida

Ew0k187,

The corner and the judges. But it seems like the judges like to think leg kicks shouldn't count as they don't do damage, and that a guy who ketp pressing forward and waving arms to show he was fine, was in danger of being KO'd a number of times. What can I say. Sad

Eduardo Alonso.

agreed^

I agree with all three judges, leg kicks are useless and everyone knows there are no knockout points on ANY part of the leg.

Because, when do right, no can defend!

-"DJ CRUSH"

lol at the TS never watching a single muay thai fight in his life....

Fruhz is back???

I already discussed this here, asshole

To counter the leg-sweep of course. Cue the music...

"You're the best! Arou-hound! And nothin's gonna eva keep you down!"

nahh he was doing the manny pacquiao thing

seemed like he was doing a pushing out motion to settle and "reset" perhaps.  but who knows.

I hear when it's done correctly, there's no defense.
