Could it happen now that Machida no longer has the belt?

I want to see this so much. More than I want to see JDS/Cain.

Will probably see the winner of Page/Rashad prior though which will still be great. I take Rua over all excluding Anderson.

How's this for a plausible scenario:



1. Rampage beats Rashad



2. Rampage beats Shogun (nobody beats Rampage in a grudge match, which would be re-inforced if he does beat Rashad)



3. Rampage fights Anderson Silva for the LHW belt



4. Rashad moves down to 185 and very quickly snaps up the MW belt.

Or...

Anderson fights Chael and then fights the winner of Shogun vs Rampgae/Rashad.

The bigger problem is still lil Nog and Machida though. If they're still in the running for title shots later in the year Silva will likely just stay at MW.

I assume that you didn't see the first Shogun/Rampage fight in Pride?

And yes, I would LOVE to see Shogun vs Silva right now!
