Hello Guy's This is cool. I just want to say please start a Catch club and have fun! I train in Vintage Catch Wrestling with Billy Wicks. And we run our gym like a boxing gym. In the old days guy's would pick up a move here and a move there and put there twist on it. Some Catch guy's have a Pro Wrestling look to there stuff. And what I like is with Billy Wicks it's more vintage, You can get Jake's books plug plug. And you see the guy's going for all there leg submissions from behind. It's cool to see old photo's and then have Billy show you why and how it was done. It was cool to have Lou Thesz and Danny Hodge put a wrist lock on me. And guess what? It is the same way Billy puts it on. These guy's did not have the same coach, or train in the same gym, But the move is the same. I guess what I should say, There is no one master of catch Wrestling. Don't worry about stepping on toe's or to let this guy say you have to be in with my club or it's not true Catch Wrestling. Hey if you love this sport, and are doing what you can to train. THEN YOU ARE CATCH WRESTLING.

I've been wanting to stop by NC for the longest time to train with Pops, but something always came up.

I agree with that totally. "True" catch is people stepping up and being willing to lay it on the line. If Ad Santel was willing to actually put on a gi and take on the Judo players in Japan, then grappling without one should be no problem at all.
I'm really not far away at all. Just over the hill (what those yankees call a mountain) in Wise county Va. There's no good excuse as to why I have gotten over that way already.
