RULES
Many tournaments restrict some techniques in order to limit the number of injuries incurred by the competitors. While we at ShootHook believe that this is certainly a good idea for newcomers to the sport, we also think that it sometimes hinders the game of many more experienced grapplers. For this reason we have limited technique restrictions.

ShootHook Submission Tournament is committed to bringing a truly unique experience to the Mid South grappling scene.
With all of the grappling tournaments around, why should you choose ShootHook? We at ShootHook believe that the ultimate goal of the grappler should be to submit his opponent. For this reason we have done away with the point system traditionally used. We feel that this will eliminate the tendency of some individuals to get up on points then "ride the clock" instead of attempting to end the match with a submission.

The entry fee is $40. How is that low? I thought these competitions usually go $40-50?
Other than that, The time limits are cool.

yeah typical Naga/grapplers quest and local nogi/bjj tournerys run about 60-100 on average and most at a time limit...if at the door or after a certain date they increase theprice .
