Should I combine?

Should I cambine weight training with bodyweight traning. As you all should know by now, Iam the american football player.

But the thing is, is that Iam going to a strength and conditioning camp and I had asked the coach if he could work with me one on one in the weight room. Kinda like a personal trainer. And he said yes, and he will do it for free. And he said I get out of it what I put into it, if I put in %100 he will put in %100 prcent. So you know I mean where can you cant find a better coach then this guy really.

But ok enough with the babaling. Me and him are lifting weights tusday-friday. I was wanting to know on my off days if it would be a good idea to bodyweight train. As I have heard the good benifts of bodyweight training. But anyways, does anybody know if this would be a good idea to do.

Thanks!

If you keep it to a low-to-medium volume and intensity, it could be good as active recovery, as well as GPP of sorts, due to increased workload.

Well I was really just wanting to know if doing bodyweight exersies well benift me at all in football. Or should I just basicaly focus on weight training.

By the way Iam talking about bodyweight exersies from scrapper's mod.1.

Probably help.  I recommend working on your academics too though. Your typing/spelling needs a lot of work.

Sorry, English majoy and that sorta thing makes my teeth itch...

I know I posted a year-round college football weight and running program the last time you posteed asking about football conditioning. Someone probably posted info from Joe DeFranco as well. If you didnt get what you needed from those two sources chances are you might need to speak with someone in person...
