Should Josh Thompson call it a day?

I've always enjoyed watching him fight when he's fought, but he's had waaaaaay too many injuries now. He's clearly lost out on a TON of cash, and his body is failing him.

Should he call it a day or change camps and give it another shot?

Hes at AKA so i think his camp is fine. It depends on his injury and i know hes contemplated it in the past. I hope he gives chandler a war before he retires.

Either way the punk is a legend Phone Post 3.0

No. No reason to. Yeah he's pulled out of fights. And seems to get injured, frequently. But it's not like mma is his only duck. Thomson has been on the wrong side of too many split decisions. The guy is still as elite as anybody.

Josh should do what he wants. No one on this forum has an opinion that matters in this situation, either.

AKA is the bermudas triangle of injuries. Phone Post 3.0

No. Phone Post 3.0

If you judge fights on competitiveness, not on who 3 unqualified people think did better, Thomson is and has been a top 5 fighter for many many years.

His fights with Gilbert should've been draws. Both fighters showed a ton of skill and heart and I liked both fighters more after that fight, fuck whoever the judges call "loser".

100% agree his last time in the UFC was a bit sad for me as a huge punk fan on the end of a lot of bad decisions, should have been the champ. Phone Post 3.0

James Thompson is far past his prime and should retire after the Kimbo rematch win or lose.

Josh Thomson is still an elite fighter who's had some bad luck on split decisions and injuries, and should totally keep fighting (unless he doesn't want to). His name is also spelled without a 'p'. Phone Post 3.0

Nah i think if he rehabs well he still has some years left. Always a competitive guy out there. Phone Post 3.0
