Should McGregor cards be Main Event heavy?

Even with Gastelum/Cerrone pulled UFC 205 was ridiculously stacked.

Obviously UFC wanted to put on a big card and leave a lasting impression on potential new fans, but damn no wonder everyone thinks they just want to see McGregor cards!

Main Card (on Pay-Per-View):
Eddie Alvarez (28-4) vs. Conor McGregor (20-3)
Tyron Woodley (16-3) vs. Stephen Thompson (13-1)

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0) vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0)
**
Donald Cerrone (31-7, 1 NC) vs. Kelvin Gastelum (12-2) — Gastelum Missed Weight; CANCELED
Chris Weidman (13-1) vs. Yoel Romero (12-1)
Miesha Tate (18-6) vs. Raquel Pennington (8-5)

Preliminary Card (on FS1):
Frankie Edgar (20-5-1) vs. Jeremy Stephens (25-12)
Khabib Nurmagomedov (23-0) vs. Michael Johnson (18-10)
Rafael Natal (21-7-1) vs. Tim Boetsch (19-10)
Vicente Luque (10-5-1) vs. Belal Muhammad (10-1)

Preliminary Card (on UFC Fight Pass):
Jim Miller (27-8) vs. Thiago Alves (21-10)
Liz Carmouche (10-5) vs. Katlyn Chookagian (8-0)

Conor's events should have practically no name value, but very talented fighters that deserve names.

Look at how stacked that UFC 205 was. It would have sold-out with just McGregor.

should have been Khabib vs Michael Jonhson and Edgar vs Stevens in place of the female fights. now that's stacked.

One of the 5 best cards ever, that was.

Lots of red panty nights were had that evening. Well maybe not at Weidman and Eddie's house, but there were many.

But McGregor pulled those numbers by himself CRE didn't you know??
