Shall the UFC try to build Lesnar while giving him easy fight in order to grow their investissement?
The risk is that the WWF fan are gonna think again that their sport is real and that as Lesnar got destroyed numerous time in wwf, that the best catcheur would beat the best UFC fighter
OR
Shall they just put him directly against the best Hw in the hope that Lesnar get destroyed and that the UFC gain legitamicy.....and money...
"with only 1 fight, the UFC has to match lesnar up with a less experienced fighter or it won't get sanctioned. its not even the UFC's choice."
That might not necessarily be true. I mean, given Lesnars wrestling credentials, it can be said that he is world class in a fighting art. That could be enough to convince the NSAC or whoever that he is capable of hanging with much more experienced fighters. Hell, they santioned Dana to box Tito. As long as there is no imminent danger to Brock, they'll probably let it go.
"Lesnars wrestling credentials, it can be said that he is world class in a fighting art."
It doesn't work like that. The AC takes your MMA experience as the most weighted aspect of your profession. He will fight a guy with less than 5 fights.
They sanctioned Dana because he was already a professional boxer. They sanctioned him to have a boxing match. Brock has only 1 fight under MMA.
They should definitely build him up. He already has a huge reputation with pro wrestling fans. Why crush that? If they build him up, they will be extending a branch for more pro wrestlers like Angle
"The risk is that the WWF fan are gonna think again that their sport is real."
I don't think that pro wresling fans will ever think thatit is real, but Brock's "real" athletic credentials are well documented as are those of other Pro wreslters And MMA fighters. Brock will be built up just like every other high price fighter the UFC aquires.

Who cares?? Thats even better! More pro wrestling fans will order MMA ppv's to see their heros dominate MMA. This business is about making a profit, not showing who the best fighter in the world is.
He should have a couple of prelims before going in against the top competition. This will build his reputation and give him a chance to adjust to MMA competition before being placed in big fights.

They do take prior experience in other combat sports into account.
That is the only reason Koscheck was able to get sanctioned versus a guy like Fickett (26-3) so early in his career. Ditto for Pe De Pano getting sanctioned versus former HW champ Frank Mir (8-1) in only his second pro fight.
"It doesn't work like that. The AC takes your MMA experience as the most weighted aspect of your profession. He will fight a guy with less than 5 fights." The AC will do what the ufc recommends.

Shonie Carter is about to fight a guy with 2 fights in his career.
That tall kid on TUF who is always hurt was 0-0 in his fight against Hightower who was 8-1.
Din Thomas was like 13-1(with wins over Pulver and Mishima) when he fought 1-0 BJ Penn.
Seriously it's the UFC they have clout with the ACs. They can match Lesnar up with whoever they want. Hell Lesnar's last fight was against a guy who had 9 or 10 fights.
Nah. I think they should feed him to the lions like they did Shogun. It builds character. Trial by fire and all that shit. Thunderdome, baby. Two men in. One man out.
