When Chael first started his WWE promo persona I said it would take over the entire sport and that I didn't want that to happen. So that's what he did to ME personally.
That being said I do feel bad for him and it sucks that his TV career kinda went out the window the same time as his fighting career. I really do think we will see him involved in some MMA program or another within the next year.. hell, he might even be back at Fox soon enough. This is just damage control by the UFC/Fox right now. Soon as it blows over Sonnen will have a job again somewhere.
Sorry but I dont feel bad for the guy at all. He injected test for multiple fights without telling anyone, got caught with things like clomid months after the trt ban (when it shouldve been long out of his system) and now the epo/hgh combo? Thats insane. I always see people post things like 90% of the guys are on it as an excuse, but until they fail multiple tests lets focus on the guys that are known to be cheaters.
Ill save my sympathy for guys like TJ Grant and Cruz.

Nothing personal against Chael, but UFC is doing the sensible thing.
This is a new era where fighters have to take part in a more sensible drug testing protocol than the past. Sure, some will get through, but for the most part -- it will only get worse for those who try and cheat.
I'm very glad the ridiculous "TRT era" is over, and I'm glad the big lie of drug testing ("It's worthless, you'll never catch anyone") has been exposed.
Hopefully the penalties get more stringent.
In the future, I believe random drug testing will be a regular year-round protocol for anyone who chooses to become a professional MMA fighter.
