Should your team take a shot with RG3?

Head case and injury prone, but has shown flashes of brilliance and could possibly re-invent himself with a change of scenery and maturity.

Rams, Eagles, 49ers, Bills, Texans, Jets?

Nah we got the mvp were good Phone Post 3.0

I'd be ok with him sitting behind Roethlisberger and learning for a 3-4 years before Ben finally retires.

No

My top 3 teams shouldn't take him. Guy was a good college baller not a NFL quality QB. I don't think any nfl team should waste $$ on him.

I'm sick of seeing Should "insert team" take RG3

Lol NO

I think Hue Jackson is a hell of a coach. He made Jason Campbell into a quality starter and helped revive Carson Palmers career. He made AJ McCarron a playoff winning quarterback (then the defense shit the bed). The Browns are going to draft a qb, but I wouldn't be opposed to them bringing in RG3 as well to kick the tires.

I would rather take a chance on RG3 than Hoyer, Yates, or Savage so I vote yes. I mean it's not like we have a lot to lose here. Phone Post 3.0

Hell no. Derek Carr > RG3

Not talking about him being a starter, I don't see RG3 starting on any time at the beginning of the season. Backup to Big Ben is interesting, also a backup in a place like Dallas could be a fit too now that Johnny football is officially a pariah.

What kind of salary will he command? Isn't he too expensive for a backup? Phone Post 3.0

Hopefully the Rams sign him to a huge contract.

Long suffering Jet fan here, since the days of Richard fucking todd. While I'm well aware Fitzpatrick isn't the answer I want zero part of rg3. At least fitz can manage the game, and given our wide receivers he actually had a Damn good year. Rg3 changes any offense he goes to too much. Phone Post 3.0

as someone who has intently watched RG's every snap in the NFL and so badly wanted him to be a franchise QB, I will be shocked if he has ANY further success in the NFL... once the read/option was figured out (a lot of that his inability to protect himself), his attempt to try and become a pocket passer was shockingly inept... it was like watching a golfer all of a sudden try and swing from his non-dominant side...

I think he could be fantastic in the right system. He's got more speed and better accuracy than the dog murderer or Cunningham had.

cool hand Ed - I'd be ok with him sitting behind Roethlisberger and learning for a 3-4 years before Ben finally retires.

This.

The Jaguars just paid Chad Henne 4M per year to backup Bortles, so it depends on what you think he'll command on the open market.

Granpa - Hell no. Derek Carr > RG3
This. raiders are gonna be a force next year. Phone Post 3.0

Nope. Tannehill has shown more promise than RG3 and I'm excited to see how he progresses with a QB whisperer like Gase at the helm. No need to bring in a backup reclamation project, or at least not one like RG3 Phone Post 3.0

Would love to have him as a backup for when Romo invariably breaks something.

yes YOUR team (as long as it's not the Raiders since we have enough issue) should

I love Tyrod, but he'll probably be gone in 2 years. How many years of control does RG3 have?
