Shoutout to the mid-level UFC manager whom thought

up the 'UFC Fight Pass' concept. We all know those ideas don't start at the top.

The world is moving to subscription based services, no doubt. We've all seen news reports of microtransactions and subscriptions changing the way the world consumes in this new tech era.

I just want to take a minute to praise the mid-level manager that isn't getting the recognition he deserves because a suit jumped on the microphone.

He found a way to monetize the library of Pride et al videos that cost the UFC tens of millions to acquire. This new revenue stream should generate ~3mm a month.

Here's to you, random mid-level manager. I see you.
