I picked up my first copy of Showdown Magazine. There was some good reads but the price is absolutly ridiculous.
$6.00 (so like $6.50 with tax) for 30 pages??? And I read the whole thing in like 20 minutes. That is a brutal price, and it's not even like the mag is being imported from Timbatoo or anything.
And before you people start whining "support the sport", it's kind of hard to support the sport when I won't have any money to support myself.

six bucks is nothing for a magazine.....i'd pay ten
6 Bucks isn't that much for a mag. Plus the photos in it are superb.

Grappling is $6. Ultimate Athlete and Fightsport were both $7, and all 3 of those are 100 plus pages and they are brought in from the US too.
