I asked my Bruneian friend to translate Silat Suffian Bela Diri. He said that there was no exact, direct translation into English, but it meant something like
"when hell freezes over" ... or was it "when monkeys fly out of my butt"? Shoot, I can't remember. Well, it was one or the other.

My stance on how to present criticism remains the same:
post videos, pics and links to silat sites. When images of the "art" are presented, it is impossible to defend it as anything more than a standard, nonsensical traditional martial art waste of time.
And before anyone chimes in how "their" silat is better, the first slapping knife defense technique on that video is identical to material I was taught under the banner of Bukti Negara.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know....Serak is the secret version of Bukti Negara that actually works. Blah. Blah. Blah.
Silat Suffian Bela Diri is a pretty system that would look good in the movies.
