I have a feeling the reason Silva wants GSP is because they are almost always the #1 and #2, respectively, p4p best ranked fighters on any MMA list...and some would argue those should be switched around. I think Silva is nearing the end of a phenominal career and would like to be the undisputed p4p best. Now, being a huge Silva fan ill admit a rematch with Sonnen scares me a little. Sonnen is a badass, and absolutely handled Stann. I do think though, if Andy doesnt fight Chael again, his status will be tarnished a little. The what if factor....thoughts?
Chael.
Both please. Preferably GSP first so Sonnen can win one more, but both please.
Sonnen doesnt belong on the same sentence as gsp and silva this aint the wwe this shit is for real
Jones
Finally an honest Silva fan that can admit he's nervous about the fight!
Chael vs. Silva undoubtedly first. Silva can then pick on the smaller GSP and fight for the consolation prize.

I said nervous...I still think Silva is a better fighter and stands a great shot of taking it in a big way.

I am also nervous about the Sonnen fight. Chael is just such a dominant fighter, but I believe Anderson can win if he is at 100%. If Gsp wins his next fight against Condit and Anderson can get passed Chael, I think they should put the super fight of the century together to see who's the number 1 fighter in mma.
Drunkie - i really don't want to see gsp vs anderson. but this is by far a bigger fight then chael. this would be a battle to find the true p4p champ. number 1 vs number 2 there is no bigger fight that can be made.Even though I am one talking about Sonnen not deserving the fight constantly, how can you argue Vitor over Sonnen and sya "you need to win your way into it"?????/ Makes no sense. Sonnen beat a much more legit contender than Vitor....
i don't think gsp wants the fight plus i don't think he stands much of a chance. this fight is so far out of the league of a simple title fight they should be compared.
if they can make it happen that should be the biggest goal first.
chael i don't think should be the one fighting anderson first anyways.i would put hendo or victor in there first. talking out your as does not earn you a title fight in my book. you should not be able to talk your way into a fight you need to win your way into it

The injuries kinda screw this whole plan of yours up though.
Anderson and GSP will both be healthy and ready to fight (it appears) in or around February of next year. This makes the timing for the Super-Fight to be SuperBowl weekend. In the mean time, since Sonnen was injury free, he could easily fight a Munoz or someone around December or January to earn the rematch. Shit he could even fight Vitor if he doesn't have another opponent yet...
Drunkie -
in my book sonnen was farther down the list. his cheating has to be accounted for. victor lost but he atleast lost fairly. i think the 3 top contenders are hendo .victor then sonnen. bisbing prolly should be counted also but that would be such a bad fight. losing without cheating gets you ranked higher then losing while cheating in my book
I agree with that 100%.
I was more talking about what they have done since losing to Anderson.
You cannot argue Akiyama > Stann at all....not even close tbh.
I could see Munoz being in line before both of them with another win in a month...

Agree too. Chael is also acting like an idiot against a guy who's known for not respecting guys who talk too much. We all know fighters have "off nights", when they just dont look like themselves in the cage. Im not taking anything away from Chael that night, he looked great. But I have serious doubts about him doing that to Silva again.
C4mac - Jones
i agree with this...
would be nice to see him fight GSP though, but i'd rather see GSP move up and fight (middlweight) -Chael, Silva move up and fight (lhw) -Jones (and stay in those divisions).
both...
