I remember that moment. I was a huge Silva fan and always hyped him up to my friends. I was there with my ex and 3 friends. Feeling like shit because I knew he was done until he got the triangle. I freaked out and then went crazy as Sonnen tapped. Phone Post 3.0

Sonnen had a little habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He did the same to Paulo Filho in their first fight. Dominated the whole fight until getting subbed at the end. That Silva fight has to haunt him. It was the biggest comeback in any mma title fight I can remember. I was really pulling for him to win too. Phone Post 3.0

Definitely the best come back ever, the way Silva let Sonnen get comfortable and did not attempt any triangles until that point. He also threw some punches from the bottom that distracted Sonnen then quickly and precisely locked in the triangle.

Man that was a crazy night. I remember I was on the phone with my friend during the 5th round and I was explaining the fight to him (we both hated Sonnen at the time). At one point i said to him "man I can't believe that we're about to have a new MW champion and its this loud mouth". And literally seconds later Silva hit him with the triangle choke and I started screaming and my friend thought I was trolling him Phone Post 3.0
