Dana White has guaranteed he'll make the superfight between UFC Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and UFC Middleweight Anderson Silva. Silva has indicated enthusiasm.

However, GSP has a more nuanced stance.
"He weighs 234 pounds; I weigh 188," GSP said recently. "So there's a big weight difference. I've fought guys who were bigger -- I'm not scared of him -- it's just that I will take this fight when it makes sense for me. I just came back from an injury, there's money to be made, there are fights in my weight class, other challenges out there, and if I fight him, I will have to gain weight, while he will have to lose weight, and then afterwards, I won't be able to come back to my weight class."
Then the rumor floated that GSP wants $50,000,000, which would be bad math.
Ariel Helwani reported Tuesday on UFC Tonight that Silva's manager thinks the fight won't happen.
"GSP, said he wants this fight to happen on his terms," said Helwani. "He may not be ready for it just yet. But I spoke to Anderson Silva's manager last night, and he told me that he truly doesn't believe that GSP wants this fight next and therefore he doesn't believe this fight will happen."
What can Dana White do bring GSP around?

And in other news.....never mind.....
Um yea we know and AS does not want JBJ. Time to move on (it was long ago).
Did Silva's camp also say "Andy doesn't want superfight."? Last I heard he didn't want to fight Jon Jones. #hypocrisy
All the great champs who stood the test of time and history fought beyond their prime weights and time. GSP can't expect to be great and a gameplanner at the same time. People defend that because GSP is the last frontier between an all black elite in the sport. We can go around it for a while but if you look deep down and read in between the lines, that's what's up.
So how will his last two fights play out? The fans were thinking GSP and Jones...what will he do, simply return to 185, defend the strap twice and ride off into the sunset?

here's a hint for ya bud, GSP is already considered great.
He'll never be a legend if he stays at 170. He says ur wants to test.himself yet stays at 170.

Hughes and Lidell were not great champs, got it.
How about Silva fight those middleweights or go up to LHW for the 4(!!!)th time and fighting that champ in a superfight since he's clearly shown he can handle good LHW fighters.
Name a war, name a rival. You can't because hes content.with mediocrity. Legends clean out a division which hes.done.a.few.times, then.moce up.for.bigger.money.and.challenges.
Sorry bro, he'll only.be a legend in canada.
If Anderson can fight at 170 then by all means have them fight.
If not, don't call out a smaller man for a perceived superfight. Call out a bigger man at a weight you can make.

don't apologize to me, i couldn't care less if you think he's a legend or not. his accomplishments far exceed the criteria you're trying to put on legend status.
Yes, lol how many decision wins.does he have on his record? Lol far from a legend
