Sim Go v Robson Moura

2 extremely good grapplers going at it. Props to Sim for giving a World Champion like Robson big trouble.

i hate youtube so much

dave321 - That was a great match but I missed the part where Robson was in big trouble haha.
ok. i guess you're right

Sim's definitely got the skills!

both guys are great but Robson is insane.

I had a chance to roll with Sim at Kobra Kai in Las Vegas the past fall before WEC 52. He couldn't have been a nicer guy. When he had me in side control, he felt like a ton of bricks. I go about 180 and he is maybe 135. Super fluid, awesome game!

Thatys exactly how you know you are rolling with someone high level. They seem to weigh a fucking TON.

Roland Sarria in Phoenix is one of the heaviest 180lb guys you will ever feel. Blue Belt under Rickson, Brown under Ken Gabrielson. Real basic game but he is good and SUPER heavy. Taps guys just by crushing them.

I know who Roland is, I train in Glendale

sim is very good obv, but robson trounced him and had him on his heels the entire time.

Both guys are awesome and it's too bad neither still compete in the Worlds or Pan Ams. Would love to see some of the matches that could occur.

Go to his school and roll with him some time.

Sim was either still a brown belt there, or had just recieved his black.

Awesome match!

I only roll at the MMA Lab and when in the East Valley I go to Santino's (Southwest MMA)

Santino, Riggs, Edwin, Escobar, Mclintock, Upshur...they all got their base from Roland. Dude should get credit for shit like that but doesn't. Phone Post

Riggs and Upshur are the only ones that trained with him for an extended period of time and Mclintock has been with ACS since he was a kid

So?  None of those guys stuck with him.    Why should he get any credit?

He showed them a scissor sweep that should be good enough to be considered there base in all seriousness Upshur is the only one he should get any real credit for

Great match. I counted 11-0 Robson.

Oh I did not know that you should not give any credit to the person you learned all the basics of Jiu Jitsu from. I'll make sure and write that down. The word "Creonte" comes to mind. Phone Post

Don't hate someone if you don't have any personal reason to. I'll leave it at that. Roland spent 3yrs training with Rickson and 4 training with Ken Gabrielson. He is a legit Brown Belt as far as I'm concerned. I 100% understand that it is not popular to like him in town though. That's his fault I'm sure. I'm not defending him. But I consider him a friend and I would never talk shit about a person behind their back that I call friend to their face./////anyway off-topic. props to Sim for looking pretty good against a monster like Moura!!
