TL;DR - playwright cancels a rural university production of his play JESUS IN INDIA at last minute because some main characters were Caucasian.

to be fair, the writer wasn't just against whites in the play; there was also a mixed-race person in the play, and the (korean)playwright insisted that only asians be cast in the roles. The school should recast all the parts with only blacks, latinos, and native americans, so the SJWs won't have any idea which side to support.

you should read the article; the university is not the one that wanted the play cancelled, and they even offered more than reasonable accommodations for the situation, and were rejected by the playwright. This wasn't a case of a university drowning in its own political correctness.
I went to a nativity play as a child where the animals were played by humans rather than real animals. Absolutely sickening

I went to a nearly all white elementary school and we had a white kid play Jimmy in our fifth grade Tom Sawyer play. Nobody told us Jimmy was a black kid and my friend Timmy who played Jimmy didn't know either. The lines made way more sense years later when that truth was revealed to me.

I love how he's just being a complete diva in the letter. He acts like they were going to have the kids playing the parts wearing yellow face. It makes me feel bad for the people that put in all of that hard work for nothing.

I just imagine the outrage if an all (insert minority) school put on a play with Julius Caesar as a character and the white playwright put a stop it for the same reasons.
