skipping rope question...

quick question...

I know there is some general rule as to how long a skipping rope should be...which I forget.

Just want to know if we should be putting a knot on each side to shorten them, or leave them full length...? Clients are different heights obviously, but just some type of general rule?

Isn't it your supposed to stand on the middle of the rope and the handles should reach up to your waist, or armpit, or whatever...?

thanks guys

Yeah stand in the middle and the handles should reach your hips.

A little extra length never hurt anyone. wink wink

"Yeah stand in the middle and the handles should reach your hips."

lol, you mean your arm pits...

No way could you jump with a rope that short.

A standard 30 second jump rope should reach your hips, according to the IRSF.

www.irsf.ca can answer all your rope skipping questions. I, of course, am a lifelong member. Er, I mean, I just found it on Google...
