Anyone play this game? It's a kid's game and looking to get it for my son. Any thoughts on it?
My buddy at work has a young son and they love the game and have all of the figurines. He said it's like crash bandicoot. 
We have the original and Giants for my 6 year old. The games are just like the Spyro games for the original playstation (the first skylanders is even called Spyros adventure)
Really fun game, easy enough for kids to do well in. Its a freaking racket though. There are like 32 characters for the first game, then with Giants they released 8 new "giants" and 8 new regular characters, as well as re-releasing some of the originals as "series 2"
We are sitting at about 25 skylanders at the moment, but I cant complain too much. When he's not playing the game (which is only a couple times a week) he's playing with the toys.
Just be prepared for the comittment, its not just buying a game and that being it.
it's a fun game that you can enjoy with your kid
And some of the later bosses are pretty damn hard.

This. My Gf loves it, and it's something we can co-op on, so that's cool. We had JUST collected all the series 1 guys now they are getting us for a whole new set of figures... I'm well into 400 bucks for Skylanders, but hey it's fun.
