I think that was one of the saddest moments I've seen in mma...he snatched defeat from the hands of victory. As soon as he switched to the choke I knew his chance had gone. Never thought he would get punished so bad for it? Heal up Nog. Best of luck.
What other In fight decisions have been punished as badly as this? 
Just off the top of my head, Herring letting Nog up towards the end of the 1st round in their third fight.
If he would have went with the ground and pound, it could have possibly been over.

Herring just went on to lose the decision...Did not have his arm snapped.
Everyone I was watching the fight with was yelling to keep punching, big mistake on Nogs part
