Anyone have good recipes for small, quick, healthy, protein-filled meals?
I'm trying to put on some good weight, so I've been eating a couple of extra small meals throughout the day. Some fav's: 1. Tuna (solid white albacore)and brown rice 2. A pound of limu poke 3. Block of tofu with mustard cabbage, etc. Just looking for some suggestions.
Make a bunch of skinless chicken breasts/thighs w/ minimal seasoning(no sodium if possible). Microwave them throughout the day to controll hunger. Works good 4 me.
I go on my tuna fish diet. 2 cans of tuna in water, low fat mayo, romaine lettuce, and whole whear bread. Make like 4 sandwiches and eat half a sandwich every 2 hours and slip in whey protein shakes.
Thanks for the suggestions. I actually will try some of it (just ate my tuna w/organic mayo on wheat)... although... I still don't really know what acai is. ? Oh yeah and I'm totally down with the chicken breasts... can't beat those costco frozen ones for price...
Also, I'm actually trying to put ON some quality weight (put on about 25lb in last few months) so no sked throw in some red meat too! Don't really mind a little bit of fat either.
