So Bloodborne is f**king hard?!

Ive cleared out the initial area....i just have to beat Father Gascoigne....i got him down to a 1/4 of his health and he turned into a wearwolf and killed me.  Was looking up tips. ..i..i think I'll get him next time....

How much is left of the game after that?  I'm assuming quite a bit.

You got a long way to go. I think my first play through was around 50 hours

Oh cool?!?  It took me quite a while to get a handle as i had only played a few times.

Father G is kind of a skill check. For me he was one of the harder bosses in the game first time through. I think it took like 10 times to beat him all the other bosses we're usually one or two shots.

I started it and got maybe to kill 3 bosses. I got distracted by some other games and never when back ... Going to restart it one of these days...

If I finish it I am getting a 'YOU  DIED' tattoo

So funny how these games work. I beat Father Gascoigne on my second or third try. On the contrary I have a buddy who quit the game because he couldn't take him out. My issue was Vicar Amelia (sp?). Others seem to think that one is easy. Just how it goes I guess.

I have fought him twice.  I used the strategy of keeping the grave stones between us to avoid his worst attacks.  Looked up some strategies on how to beat beast mode father G

Watch Keith Ballard whip/gravestone strategy for how to make it easy.

I saw someone playing through it that has a few speed run records in the game. They said the main focus on all boss fights is avoid damage, hit them when you safely can. But hey it's a Dark Souls game basically, die rinse repeat is the name of the game. Have fun!

Finally killed Gascoigne.  Took me a few tries...i ended up beefing up my stats and weapons more and went in with a dodge and attack strategy with the shortend saw cleaver.  Worked like a charm

Congrats dude.

Not to hijack but I'm playing through dark souls 3 right now and finding it fucking hard. For context, I platinumed demons souls and dark souls and beat dark souls 2 and bloodborne without too much issue. I really think this series got harder as it went.

I have beat Bloodborne couple times but I cannot beat the Loran Darkbeast in the Chalice Dungeon.

6 year anniversary for Bloodborne. There's an unofficial event going until April 6 for anyone interested.

  • To get the most out of this event, create a brand new character and play through the game while summoning as many random co-operators and invaders as possible.
  • Assure that your matchmaking region is set to Worldwide.
  • Try to defeat at least two enemies in each area before progressing to the next one!
  • Leave a note in the Hunter's Dream next to the bath messengers with the words "You're in the know, right?" and upvote any messages like these that you find.

You finished it???

I beat the base game but never finished the DLC. Just made a new character so the goal is to beat DLC and maybe chalice dungeons. Hoping for a ps5 remake

No, never went back to it…
