I am only judging from the second episode. I hope Ronda is better than that. No matter how good your student is..You never under estimate your opponent. You Train them to their fullest potential and past that. Ronda knew that she made that mistake and I hope that she brings some real coaching to the table with her team. I'm a huge Ronda fan and want some results.
I agree with you from that episode. However I tend to think that on TUF, most of the fights will be decided by the better fighter who came into the show, regardless of what team they've been on. Its hard to really see who's the better coach beyond obvious things like picking the right fights
I think her outburst of tears was because she realized how dumb it was to say "she doesn't even deserve to breathe the same air as her".
It made Tate look great though, Ronda is nutty.
This show is starting to look like a disaster for ronda's image
Its not hard to look better than someone who doesnt even make a gameplan for their figther.
Ronda came off as the female version of Tito Ortiz.

Do you think that this is why Ronda was saying that she would not do another Ultimate Fighter again even for even $10 million?
I think Tate is much more even kiel and I think with the circumstances that the fighters are under with them all being in the house together may prove to be a long term advantage opposed to Rousey and her staff who appear to be wound very tight.
I have a very good friend who was a world Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion for many years......He was known to go for the submission and hated stalling. I won't say his name. His teaching since he was a Blue Belt was terrible. There were no details whatsoever when he taught...I knew white belts that taught better than him when he first got his Black Belt. He is a lot better now though..that's for sure. I am just hoping to see better coaching and instructions from Ronda..I have mad respect for her talents.
Just before the fight Ronda said something about not having a game plan, that "we're prepared for whatever happens".
Unless Ronda wasn't paying attention, Pena showed heavy hands and a very aggressive attack in her elimination fight. A few seconds into the Shayna fight and Pena starts throwing bombs and combos and Shayna looked like she didn't expect it at all, at the very least didn't respect her opponent's hands.
So it was either Shayna's ego or Ronda's lack or prep work, or both.
This show has really turned me around on Ronda and certainly not in a positive way.
ChrisJPN - This show has really turned me around on Ronda and certainly not in a positive way.Agreed. She doesn't appear as someone who can remotely keep her composure when shit hits the fan.

She really hates Meisha, That's for sure. Ronda was really quiet on Episode 1 and Meisha was the opposite. I was saying to myself "Shut Meisha up!, Shes Annoying"
Again, its the editing as well. We will see who they favor more.
Granpa - Ronda came off as the female version of Tito Ortiz.Hammer...meet the head of the nail...

Well Ronda can't teach everyone to just do Judo throws and armbars now can she?
The real female Tito is Julianna Pena.
She is a mixed of young arrogant TITO and old ass Victim Mentality TITO
#FemaleTito
Is she the female chael to rouseys jones?
She's definitely looking better, and probably better looking... I say it's a wash so far
For all the dumb shit he says, Tito was a fantastic coach on TUF.
It's another demonstration that the old gaurd of female mma isnt very good anymore. Tara Larosa couldnt even make it into the house.
Ronda failed before the coaching even began,... It was a dumb fight pick. YOu match you're best with their stylistic worst and you try to maintain control of the fight picks that way. the focus should be getting your best to the next round not playing games with the other coaches BFF.
