At this point I don't think I can really pick anyone over Nick on the feet. Yes, GSP is fast, technical, and has monkey arms, while Nick is slow and weak. Whatever. Doesn't matter. For whatever reason, no one can take Nick's punches, while he can take anyone's.
So obviously GSP could take Nick down at will. Nick is great on the ground, but is he good enough? Is it really likely he could submit someone as skilled, fast, and powerful as GSP from his back?
It wouldn't be unlike any other boring GSP fight. Diaz would get taken down for 5 rounds, but due to his never ending cardio and salmon like heart he would be able to secure the tapmission in the 5th.
I don't think GSP would stand with Diaz. He'd probably go for the take down 2 seconds into the fight.
I like Nick but I think GSP will just out wrestle him for 5 rounds...
Ghan - I don't know but Nick is arguably more dangerous both standing and on the ground than any opponent GSP has faced recently. People saying he has no chance are just plain stupid.

I don't know...Nick has back and forth wars with guys like Cyborg, Noons, and Daley....while GSP hasn't lost a single round in almost 4 years against fitch, alves, koscheck, penn, etc.
I think Nick gets dominated like all the rest. People really seem to underestimate how much better GSP is than everyone else.

I couldn't help but laugh because it's true. I think most of us can at least agree on that much.
Diaz is one of the most exciting fighters in the sport and I always tune in for his fights. However, I think he spends 5 rounds on his back for a decision loss against GSP.
I want to see him fight GSP in a unification bout right now. Diaz belongs in the UFC ASAP. He can undergo training for public speaking if he has to.
