So I guess Huerta did copy GSP... Picture Proof...

top left corner is gsp fighting fitch, underneath is huerta fighting kenflo, and now look right at huerta fighting clay. i remember huerta mainly fought south paw against clay, and he usually switched up alot. he never had the stance he did against kenny though. besides the south paw thing, see any differences in his two stances, and similarities to gsp with his new one?

I don't disagree with you, and I in fact noticed the southpaw thing too on Saturday, but it's hard to draw too many similarities/differences from three snapshots from three fights.

Can you provide some more insight into what you noticed?

just comparing the kenflo fight to his other fights, he had a much different stance but his striking was similar. whenever he was done with a combo, he would maintain his new stance. but when he threw his punches, he looked like his old self. his striking/technicality wasnt any different, imo. its just his stance was. it was weird, and other people noticed it on here too. there were a bunch of threads like "LOL @ huerta... copying gsps stance" and i didnt really notice it much until i payed attention. just found it a bit odd.

 lol even his shorts

 right? lol.

i guess best buddies take after one another, haha.

he did try the superman punch followed by a leg kick alot.that seems to be one of gsp's favorite combos.

This is hilarious and pathetic at the same time......

Wow Roger.....next thing you know he's going to start tweaking his tits before fights....

i think he tried that combo a couple times,

i remember seeing him fail over and over again.

The thing about the Superman punch is that you have to land the kick before usually for it to work. He threw it like ten times and never came close to landing it.

So trying to emmulate one of the best fighters is a bad thing?

Good for him training with the best...hopefully he'll be able to adapt and improve what he learns to match his own style and strengths.

when your fail at it, yeah.

wider stance to sit down on punches and make for better takedown defense, imo.

 this is true.

ttt

Huerta looked much improved in his fight with KenFlo....Huerta of old would not have made it out of rd 1 against Kenny.

agreed, but he needs to work his shots.

and stop trying that superman punch.

he looked better, but not by much.

lol at trying to make fun or roger, who doesnt want to fight like gsp.

hell after his fight most fags come on here asking where they can get gsp shorts, or what kind of tattoo he has etc... stfu
