How hilarious would it be for Jon Jones to pass up the biggest payday of his life, only because he wanted an unrealistic amount of extra “hazzard pay” to fight a dangerous opponent. The narrative has always been that the UFC is cheap and the fighters deserve more pay. It’s okay when Khabib and Conor make $10 million. But one of the GOATs doesn’t deserve it when he’s moving up to heavyweight against the consensus “scariest fighter” in the UFC?

Jones is a great fighter, but not a great fighter to promote.
