That's fucking awesome. I actually like the rule, that way if a fighter is clearly out, he doesn't take unnecessary punishment. It's a good compromise. Ref should have a Special hand signal that cues the sound clip from mortal combat "FINISH HIM", along with a dimming of the stadium lights and a spotlight on just the fighters.
