What does a fight ending poke look like, Eye Doctor? What does it take to damage the cornea?
Id assume the finger needs to touch the eyeball and not just eyelid for a start.
What experience do you have to make that assumption?
Would u let me jab u with my finger so long as u got your eyelid closed?

It’s already a rule. You aren’t supposed to rake peoples face.
Problem is fighters know they can at least get away with doing it once.
Because of this they try and gauge distance by putting their hands up with their fingers extended.
You have shitty refs that don’t enforce it when it does happen and say it’s accidental. It’s not tho, if the fighter has been putting his hand out with fingers extended, you’ve warned him about it, and then an eye poke happens, it’s on the ref to take a point. Hell even take 2 points and start making examples.
Eye poke would only happen once every year if refs or the commission started saying, as soon as we see you fighting with your fingers out and in a closed fight, we are going to start taking points. If the ref feels nice they can give a warning, but if they do it they get a point. If it causes damage then it 2 points.
