So what’s next for Tony Ferguson?

He should also definitely retire.

Well there goes my “nobody” part ha ha.

Yes parts of me think both should retire. Yet both are still draws, super entertaining, and can compete among the best. Not the championship level tier but just below it.

Nate should’ve retired after he beat Conor

He made Nate quit, that should count for something

I think it’s close to the point where Dana needs to have “the talk” with him. Best case scenario for Tony would be that the UFC does follow through with the Ultimate Fighter and Tony can be one of the coaches. Keeps him busy for a while. Then he can rest up, and maybe have one more fight on a full camp.

no more fights he is going to get hurt

Hopefully he got a huge payday for the short notice fight and uses it to properly prepare for his next fight.

He would undoubtedly be one of the most entertaining coaches in show history.

Retirement. Hes 38 years old, on a 5 fight losing streak and has taken tons of punishment. If you cant beat a washed up gatekeeper like Nate you’re done competing at a decent level.

Had to get up early today, didn’t get to see the fights. Was the fight competitive or a one-sided beatdown?

It was an odd fight tbh. To me they both half assed it and it was pretty even for a bit. Diaz had a fun flurry and subbed him.

I feel for him because he is mentally ill.

As a person, however, I am not a fan. I watched him on TUF. Dude just got drunk constantly and went low and deep for no reason. Isnt he the one who taunted the guy over a child custody situation?

Exactly how I feel.

Awwwww see, I now have to go watch.

Mental health problems + CTE isn’t a good mix. He should hang em up.

It kinda came off as him blaming his corner. Saying that they told him to shoot for a takedown. Am I reading it wrong?
