Kind of miss the old magazine days. Long ago, I used to buy a copy of The Ring (bible of boxing) every month until everyone local stopped carrying it. I just saw a copy yesterday for the first time in forever, it was almost $8! For a magazine? (cover story was about Mawyeather v Maidana II which has obviously already happened) GTFO!

MAN, yes! My dad had a ring subscription in the 90s and this was way pre internet for me. Every time he'd get one it was like a gift to me to see the photos of these guys - Pernell, JCC, Oscar, Tyson, Holyfield.. etc
I fucking miss 90s boxing.
VU for nostalgia. First mag I can remember being in black & white. I still remember the first issue I got had Oscar on the cover holding his gold medal. He was a fresh face kid and not a break out star yet. I got hooked immediately when I started reading. I actually believe that the transition from the old media (tv, magazines & newspapers) to the internet (especially this site) is one of the major reasons MMA surged so quickly & surpassed boxing for a younger fan base. Before that martial arts in magazines was represented as a bunch of goofy bullcrap.
