He acts like a douchebag in there. Adjust your attitude big guy. Damn near everybody in there could throw you a beating. Also taking a point was a shit call.

Beltran has that military mindset where he’s shouting orders and being strict. It’s no different than the way Big John used to act. But hopefully he doesn’t ref the Nate vs Tony fight.

Uhh I’d rather have Beltran as my referee than some of these other guys.
People love to hate on Beltran. They say he picks on smaller weight classes, although I believe it’s the same person that always says this. lol

I think he dies a great job.
People hate every ref. It is what it is. My favorites all time are Herzog and Rosenthal, but everyone makes mistakes. I really liked the way there were putside refs in pride. It could help with fence grabs and other hard to see from some perspectives cheating.

Herzog, Rosenthal and Mark Smith are generally great. We shouldn’t know who’s even in there. Beltran makes sure we know every fight. He needs to STFU.

I get why people don’t like lots of refs, but I think having more cageside would make everyone look better. No one can see every time a guy pulls what Kamaru does and grabs the fence in the clinch on the far side. Some refs are a little more involved than others, but I’ll take that all day over someone not being involved enough when it matters.
