"Los Angeles Police Department officers are searching an apartment building in Woodland Hills for three men who may have fired a shot at a vehicle in a caravan of supporters of President Donald Trump Sunday morning.

Police were surrounding the building in the 20500 block of Ventura Boulevard after getting reports of the three men who may have thrown bottles at the caravan. Moments later, someone called police saying the men had brandished a firearm and fired at least once at the caravan, said Officer William Cooper, an LAPD spokesman.

The shot may have hit a vehicle, said a police official at LAPD’s Topanga Division who only identified himself as Officer Fard. According to KNX 1070, the shot may have pierced the vehicle’s tire."

For people that don't know Los Angeles, Woodland Hills is an upscale neighborhood in the valley and if you look at a street view of the location, the apartments are extemely nice and would be expensive to rent. So the Trumpers werent exactly rolling through one of the many rough neighborhoods, but they still took fire.

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA) – Authorities are searching for at least two suspects after a man was shot to death in a Woodland Hills apartment early Monday morning.
The shooting occurred at the gated Avalon Apartments in the 20500 block of Ventura Boulevard sometime before 4:25 a.m.
Los Angeles police responded to find a man in his 30s dead at the scene. His name was not released.
The suspects, described as two black men, fled in a black four-door car, police said. It’s unclear if police had any surveillance video of the suspects or the killing.
A possible motive for the slaying was not confirmed.

"Neighbors said residents of an apartment building threw beer bottles from their balcony at Trump supporters in the caravan and argued with them. One of the bottles shattered a vehicle window, the neighbors said, and a tire popped, making a loud noise. A resident and his girlfriend also said they heard a car backfiring."
