Something that just comes naturally from Wrestling

lol @ u butthurt BJJers.

Where's your jiu jitsu now playboy?

Was that a Schultz choke like Hughes put on Almeida?

In wrestling we use standing modified guillotines all the time.

Like you see BJJers doing that all the time? It's a GRIP from wrestling. Technically it's a Front Naked Choke since your forearm and bicep are doing the same thing, just in opposite sides. When are you BJJers going to stop being TMAists and evolve? Drop the GI, drop the lineage, and drop the kool-aid acts. Wrestlers are doing so well not just because of their competitive backgrounds and work ethic, but because they aren't afraid to abandon what doesn't work, keep what does and alter what need be. BJJers have a TMA death grip.

You guys need to wake up.

Though normally I think everything you post is a troll (As you can see I am really not here much) I agree. I have never seen a wrestler try so hard to make a bad/unsuccessful technique work as I have seen in BJJ.

Something that comes naturally to RESTlers?

No really, we drill the Front Naked Choke every day on the mats. Dominated at regionals last year.

The Gracie's teach the standing guillotine as a self defense move. They also teach the escapes. Phone Post

LOL...my rant then is not for you. Personally, I use the same figure four grip that is used in an RNC, but after I sprawl on someone. A FNC. That is something I got from wrestling, by fucking up a roll.

That point that you think you made. You didn't make it.

And no. Like Jon Jones and Machida. Thread too complex for you?

And here I thought this thread was going to be about oil checks. Phone Post

I do a standing oil check.

It leaves them all butt hurt. Phone Post

jones would never hit any of these if he wasn't so ridiculous tall. gives him incredibly leverage

The Asian dart is superior!

No.

The choke works the same way as an RNC. It's a blood choke. You don't need to be taller for it to work. Since you are new to MMA, I'd like to be the first to tell you it isn't the first standing guillotine or choke in MMA. You're welcome.

Not at all, I know what fight you are talking about. I just love the way you pick and choose which fight to compare the 2 sytles, although technically, Machida is a karate fighter.

But you said and I quote

Sounds like what little nog did and showed tonight...
