The irony is I was literally going to make a "feel good music" post in a few hours when I got home. lol

The saddest song I've ever heard is "Angels in Waiting" by Tammy Cochrane. Only a true sociopath can listen to that and not cry.

I sang one sweet day at my best friends funeral and "missing you" the biggie tribute was constantly played on the radio for a week for a girl I went to school with who drowned.

Fields of gold - my sting

Woke up with this song in my head for some reason. Not quite a memorial to anyone but a melancholy longing for times past. Plus the singer just passed a few months back.

Long as I can see the light -  C.C.R

When my grandma died, one of the songs played at her Service was Run to the Hills by Maiden. She was mid-80s when she passed. Sweet, church going old lady but she was an OGer at heart.

I was driving down the road when I got the call that my mom had died. At that same moment Reeling In The Years - Steely Dan came on.

I've had a soft spot for it every since.
