Just watched the trailer for "Once I was a Champion". In the trailer, Sonnen says that Evan was not an intelligent person. Wasn't Tanner a mentor of sorts when Chael was starting out? I'm not trying to stir the pot, I just want to know that story. Any insight, anyone?
I remember reading his posts how he blew his purse money in one night after his events.

I believe Sonnen was inferring that it was a foolish of Tanner to put himself in the situation that led to his death. From the details I've read it sounds like Evan was ill prepared. Not knocking him for that though.
Only reason as a fan to not want a rematch is if your an Anderson fanboy afraid to see him actually get beat. Why wouldn't you want to see it when he's been the only person to get that close to taking the belt from Silva?
Sonnen doesn't exactly lay n pray, good takedown set-ups and a busy top game. It's a fight any fan should want to see.
I would like to see what Anderson does differently this time. He's the best P4P IMO, maybe GOAT, would be great to see him challenged.
