No aliens?!
I can’t wait for the virus to land on a bridge, which collapses onto another bridge, and a Ferrari speeds through all the falling debris and housewives, avoiding the falling virus, as the Ferrari jumps onto… another bridge.
Depending on how severe the virus is, drastic measures could be necessary to protect the population.
If we are talking a very contagious, very lethal virus then I could absolutely see a reality where "shoot on sight" or very long lockdowns are enforced. In an extreme hypothetical.
Of course that would be a virus well beyond our current Covid 19 which is what, slightly above the regular flu in lethality?

EXACTLY!! Say what you want, Bay makes entertaining as fuck movies and does car chases, fight scenes and overall violence as well as anyone. And I like how he shoots a film. It’s engaging and entertaining.

i won't knock it for those who like it. chase scenes, blowing things up, etc. do nothing for me. they don't advance the plot. they usually go on for far too long. they aren't realistic. it is like watching a cartoon to me.
i am that guy who thinks the first terminator is the best terminator. i dont need or want 30-60 minutes of effects thrown into a story
3 Little Birds playing over the trailer makes it feel like the I Am Legend universe to me lol.

I appreciate a good “film” as well. It’s like how I don’t want lobster every day, sometimes I want a greasy burger.
And I respectfully disagree. The first Terminator was the unveiling of one of the best ideas in recent film history. The movie itself was terrible. Poor special effects, horrible editing and sound. Again, it has its place in movie history but it’s not a well made film.
Does Covid have sharks with missles on their heads?
