+1

yep, and also

At Philadelphia (NBC Sports Network): "Fight Night" series premiere, Eddie Chambers vs. Sergei Liakhovich, 10 rounds, heavyweights; Gabriel Rosado vs. Jesus Soto-Karass, 10 rounds, junior middleweights; Joel Julio vs. Chris Fernandez, 8 rounds, welterweights; Doel Carrasquillo vs. Ray Robinson, 8 rounds, welterweights; Damar Singleton vs. Sullivan Barrera, 6 rounds, light heavyweights; Jose Peralta Alejo vs. Ardrick Butler, 6 rounds, welterweights; Korey Pritchett vs. David Gonzales, 4 rounds, junior welterweights; Pedro Andres vs. Naim Nelson, 4 rounds, welterweights

Good move for them since they were on FSN before, its gonna be a way to build up young fighters for bigger fights and get them exposure.

Plus it fills in some of the huge gap from losing the UFC, now you have UFC library to use this year and boxing and then Bellator and boxing in 2013.

So they can make Spike into more of a combat sports network with mma and boxing and mma junkie mag show, maybe more Bellator reality shows.

Boxing is died

Hmmmm....... Phone Post

Cause they've seen how successful the UFC has been and they realize Showtime/HBO is good and all but they need to get boxing on major networks and on cable.

this is cool, so spike will have Boxing and Bellator?

Exactly, long time ago they did it on network etc, they need to get back to that like I said, cause they are seeing now the UFC and mma is doing good things on cable/network so its time for them to get back in that.

Its HBO, Showtime, PPV and ESPN FNF, thats really the platforms for boxing, but with Spike thats good, getting back on network tv will also be good for boxing.

I wasnt saying UFC invented putting fights on tv or anything, boxing was doing well before UFC even existed.

Bellator plus Top Rank, shit is going to get interesting....

What's gonna get interesting?

That mma and boxing are on the same network? That Spike is coming after the UFC with boxing and mma?

yea, and I think as Arum and King got older, they got more money hungry....should of kept Boxing on Network TV...now HBO is having budget cuts lol..Showtime is reeling in more fights..

KingGhidorah206 - HBO is having Budget Cuts?
