So just got some new work boots from amazon and i noticed the left shoe heel is a little more ‘spongy’ and has more give to it than the right and its fucking with my gait i think. SHould i complain or send em back or do they just need to be worked in? cheers.

Jesus chris is everyone a fucking smartass here? answer the q or get lost.
Send them back and get a nice pair of stilettos, ya fuckin' ninny.
Send them back, get a refund, go to a local store, try on boots, buy your boots there, support the local economy, stop shopping online.
Shop at a store with a door. Support local economy and local jobs. No heel either. I don’t like wearing a heal, especially on a ladder.
Also don’t wear uncomfortable work boots. Iron worker boots are awesome.

Not really a smart ass comment. It’s obvious you should send them back and since it was Amazon it will be inedibly simple.
^ ‘not really’ a smartass comment? so you agree it is a smartass comment, by whatever degree, by your use of ‘not really’ otherwise you would just say it isnt.
and dont a lot of more work boot type shoes need to be ‘worked in’, thats my argument and reasoning here.

from amazon website:
"Returning Shoes, Clothing and Accessories
Shoes, clothing and accessories purchased from Amazon.ca, or a seller but fulfilled by Amazon, can be returned free of charge to Amazon.ca within 30 days of delivery of shipment via our Returns Centre.
The items must be in new and unworn condition in the original packaging."
i dont have them in original packaging and ive worn them for 2 days which complicates things. so your ‘inedibly simply’ comment is actually quite stupid.
What brand are the boots?
ChucksChin -
Umm who’s this?
IronHands -What brand are the boots?

I don’t mind paying a little more if it means I can get what I want and I help the local economy. COVID is pretty under control right now where I live so I go to stores when I need stuff.
I just took my wife out for lunch today.
I can honestly say that I buy 99% of my goods locally. My wife and kids shop online, but I’ve just never liked doing it. I enjoy going to the stores I go to.
I bought some D&D books off amazon years ago and still feel guilty I didn’t buy that at the local nerd store.

true, i can respect like and like i said, i usually try to do the same. regarding books tho, we had this mom and pop second hand book store here in town that i really wanted to support and i go there to buy several books and they were literally charging 10 bucks each for second hand paper backs. im like wtf? thats ridiculous. they should be like a buck each max. they ended up going out of business and i say good riddance to those greedy bastards.

The used book store that I go to basically charges half what the retail price is. He gives really fair trade in value too.
His Archie comics are dirt cheap too. That’s where I buy all my Archie comics.
