Two of the Southeast’s toughest middleweights are set to collide when Devan Plaisance takes on Adrian Miles at SportFight X “Middle Tennessee Mayhem” in Murfreesboro, TN Jan. 29th.
Knoxville’s Devan Plaisance (6-5) is on a roll winning three straight fights and will look to get #4 at The Murphy Center. Plaisance has never been out of the first round and will look to finish the fight early. A Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, 4 of his 5 victories have come via submission and with his 6′4 frame could present a lot of problems to Miles on the ground. Plaisance is currently ranked #4 in aroundtheoctagon.com’s Top 5 Pros in Tennessee.
Adrian Miles (5-3) is back on the right track after his win over Josh Fountain in October. Before the win Miles was coming off back to back losses for the first time in his career. But you can’t hold the losses against Miles, there isn’t much shame in losing decisions to former UFC middleweight champ Dave Menne and one of the best middleweights in Louisiana, Charlie Rader. The Birmingham native has heavy hands and has won three fights via KO.
