SportFight X presents “Middle Tennessee Mayhem”
Nashville, TN (December 17, 2010)- SportFight X Presents “Middle Tennessee Mayhem”. Southeastern MMA’s Ultimate Proving Ground SportFight X will kick off the 2011 “Rated X” Tour Saturday January 29th at The Murphy Center Complex located on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. The January fight was originally home to Birmingham, AL but was relocated to Murfreesboro, TN when the new Alabama Athletic Commission failed to sell MMA promoters license effective January 1st like they had originally planned.
SportFight X met with MTSU officials last week and the contracts were made official Monday December 14th for the Murphy Center Complex. The Murphy Center will accommodate over 10,000 spectators and is the home of Middle Tennessee States Blue Raiders. Middle Tennessee State University is located approximately 30 miles from Nashville and has over 25,000 college students on campus.
SportFight X has the majority of the fight card completed and will likely be released at the beginning of next week. Adam Gibbs noted “It has been a difficult process to relocate the show to another state on such a minimal time frame but we have pulled it off. Now we have to capture the attention of fans to get them there and with the fight card Allen has slated I don’t think it will be a problem”.
