With the constantly shifting weight(even if only miniscule), I guess it would work the stabilising muscles more? I dunno though, thats just a thought.
I agree with that lots of glutes,quads,and core activity with the shifting weight,plus the proportion/weight distribution of weight is more accurate in a fight situation
