Brian Stann appeared on "UFC Tonight" on Fuel TV on April 3, 2012. He made his prediction on Silva vs Sonnen 2, "I think that Chael Sonnen takes it. There are a lot of factors that are going to play into that. Just similar to when I fought Chael, I think he's particularly a very, very difficult match up for Anderson Silva. Just due to the years and years of difference in grappling and how physical Chael is when he's on top. We're going to have to see some new techniques from Anderson that he wasn't able to showcase in his first fight. But, if Chael performs the way he did against Bisping, he could be in for a long night against Anderson."

Brian said he'd like another shot at Chael Sonnen, "Absolutely. I don't feel like I performed my best. Just when I started to get my timing down against Chael, I made a very big tactical error. Some of the techniques we were working on for that fight, they were still a little bit out of my comfort zone."
Curious how he goes with the last guy to beat him. I might actually agree with him if Sonnen didnt look so awful against Bisping. Bisping was impressive with his wrestling but even so, neither fighter was impressive. I'm not convinced that Sonnen will have the same kind of success as the first go around.
We're gonna need to see something new from Anderson...who won. But not from Chael...who lost and has shown a history of being suspectible to triangles and armbars. Ya that makes sense. lol
Hard to see Anderson losing in Brazil, but if there's a fighter out there that can do it, it's Chael. Sonnen didn't look great against Bisping, but he looked outstanding against Stann. If the Chael that fought Stann shows up, then this fight could be just as interesting as the first one.

It was the same guy in both fights. Stann's ground game is shit. Bisping has excellent takedown defense and is great at scrambling back to his feet.
Anyone else think Silva should be asking Chuck for some TDD coaching? I know he's retired, but I dont think anyone was as good as Chuck at keeping the fight standing.

Pleeasse...Chael doesn't give people ANY ROOM to dance.. He will be 2 inches away from Silva within seconds and Silva will be on his back..I'm sorry but there just isn't anything Silva can do about that.. It will come down to if he can sub him again or not..
