WOW!!!

 ***edited for explanations.

of course picking winners in events with fields such as these is laughable at best....my picks are...

mendes--too tricky for cobrinha without the gi

garcia-- no explanation needed.

tarsis-- very tough without the gi and i expect is VERY hungry after 07.

xande-- i think he will be very well prepared.

cyborg-- has been on a tear lately gi and no gi.

kyra-- hard to bet against her.

hannette-- way too much experience.

and drysdale in the superfight.-- both guys are amazing.  Drysdale has been preparing for this and Jaca has been focusing on mma.  I give the edge to Drysdale.

we shall see what happens and i cant wait to see who will be in the absolute this year!!!!!

Darnit - I guess I'm the only person that will ever stream this event for free.

Freaking awesome lineup though!

I have the UG symbol on my rashguard. :)

So you should root for me.

10thplanetzombie.  i think Rafael is too tricky for cobrinha without the gi.  also i love saulo but no way he gets past some of those guys at that weight.

Also lets not pretend you can accurately predict winners in adcc....its all just a guess really.

Cobrinha
Marcelo
Galvao
Xande
Cyborg

Absolute: Cyborg

Ben Askren!?!?!? Wow

Good luck to Ryan Hall

Cobrinha,Marcelo,Galvao or Lovato Jr. at -87, Xande, Cyborg, Jacare, Kyra , and Staack

How is Ricco Rodriguez competing in the -98.9kg category? Has he lost a shit ton of weight?

Thatcher....how do you know who is in the absolute??????

Mendes will take it.

Johnny Walls - Darnit - I guess I'm the only person that will ever stream this event for free.

Freaking awesome lineup though!
I'd pay to stream it if I could somehow save it....

And I'm sure Saulo loves his brother Xande, but to move out of his natural weight class and compete against the monsters in the 99+ class so they remain in separate categories?

Xande better be paying Saulo's hospital bills :-P

(all kidding aside, I'll be rooting like crazy for him - and he does have a win over Monson, so he can definitely hang with at least some of those guys)

Tom Erickson is on there.

 TOM LAWLOR !

 -88kg = TOM LAWLOR

-99kg = VINNY MAGALHAES

Justin Rader is from Oklahoma and i first saw him compete as a blue...he's a brown now...he's got wins over Ryan Hall and Renato Tavares and has won many tournaments, but thats a stacked division he's in...should be good!Anybody have the brackets or know when they'll be up?How do they go about putting the brackets together?Do they draw names, seed the competitors,or what??

Hillary - I have the UG symbol on my rashguard. :)

So you should root for me.

I'm sure everyone on the UG will be rooting for you...I know i'll be ;)

i feel sorry for whoever needs to go against gunnar. that's a lose-lose situation
