Starting Mediterranean Diet, Help Me Out!

So the doc says I should lose some weight.. I'm 205 and at 5'11" with a large frame so he says I should be at 175-180 lbs. He suggested the Mediterranean Diet so I thought what the hell I'll give it a try. I went to the store today and got all kinds of stuff, here's the rundown;

Greek Yogurt
Chick Peas and Sugar Snap Peas
Olive Oil
Onions & Garlic
Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red Peppers
Olives
Romain Lettuce
Peaches, Strawberries, Raspberries, and Blueberries
Fat Free Italian Dressing
Grape Tomatoes and Whole Tomatoes
Whole Wheat Pita Pockets
Lowfat Granola
Lemons
Tilapia & Medium Shrimp
Broccoli
Goat Cheese
Artichoke Hearts
Baby Carrots and Cucumbers
Corn on the Cobb
Baby Arugula Leaves
String Beans
Red Wine Vinegar, White Vinegar, and Balsamic Vinegar
Chopped Walnuts and Almonds
Natural Peanut Butter
Whole Wheat Bagels and French Baguettes
Grapes and Oranges
Raisins

all this along with a few other things I already had.. I googled some recipes but I know some of you are familiar with this diet and can help me put this stuff together in a efficient, tasty way. I don't want to waste food and I don't have a great deal of time to spend cooking so any help would be great..

Take a pita and stuff with any random 5 ingredients from the list.

Lol this is exactly the same thing I thought of when I read Mediterranean diet. Shit is ridiculously good.

I like a diet that allows you to eat bagels and French bread. I'm not sure if I'd lose any weight though. Phone Post

Do the Paleo diet. It's more simple.
