$18k to show as the lowest paid fighter is getting pretty good.  If that was the lowest, I'd have no issue with fighter pay at all.  Gives them all the opportunity to earn $100k a year.

I agree. These pay outs were not to bad at all imo seems like people got what they deserve obviously they deserve to get paid more for what they do but still.. Phone Post 3.0

Those numbers all look pretty good to me. Especially for a little show like that. I haven't watched a single bout and I don't know anyone else who has. It wasn't exactly a must watch event.

And don't forget they get the sponsorship money as well. I have to hand it to Zuffa on this one, some really good payouts top to bottom.

Barao at 50?!? Didnt expect that at all... Phone Post 3.0

There are athletes missing from this article. Lowest pay was 10k.

Sterling got paid 30k to lose btw so safe to say he is on a 30k/30k diet. Knowing WSOF offered more than Bellator and that ultimately he chose to stay in the UFC, I can't imagine how little Bellator offered. 10k/10k??

The minimum pay was raised by 25%. While I agree minimum pay is still too low, 25% is a nice raise. Phone Post 3.0

"Fairly" is very subjective. Especially since, you know, they signed the contract.

low pay gets us athletes like tank abott.

high pay gets us guys like Jon Jones.

more money = greater athletes

Ronda Rousey was homeless, living in her car, and pill popping, when she signed up for the extremely low paying job of, cage fighter.

Conor MrGregor was on social assistance (That's welfare here in the USA)

Those are the top 2 attraction int he UFC

High pay brought us CM Punk

While I don't dispute more money attracts a broader spectrum of athletes, including in the upper echelons, this isn't reflective of the practice in the UFC, thus far.
